PET Preform Mold Technician at Wemy Industries Limited

Job Summary:

• The PET Preform Mold Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PET injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment. The technician ensures the production of high-quality preforms by maintaining optimal machine performance, minimizing downtime, and following safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and maintenance of the Injection molding machine (especially Preforms)
• Training and supervising other technicians or production workers
• Record keeping and documentation
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure equipment is operating properly 
• Monitoring and adjusting the production process to maintain quality and efficiency
• Performing regular safety checks and following safety protocols
• Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency or reduce waste
• Inspect items to ensure a consistent level of quality
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive environment

Qualifications:

• ND, SSCE, Test Trade High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in injection molding or a related field are a plus.
• Experience 3-5yrs cognate experience in Injection Molding, especially in Preform Molds
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting PET perform molding machines.
• Familiarity with mold maintenance, setup, and parameter adjustments.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
