• We're seeking a skilled and reliable maintenance technician to join our maintenance department, with the primary responsibility of ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment.
• The ideal candidate should possess advanced mechanical knowledge of production machinery, experience with PET blowing machines and bottled water filling machines, excellent troubleshooting skills, and good time-management skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree/HND in mechanical engineering or a similar field.
• Proven experience in the PET bottle blowing machine an the bottled water filling machine (experience with a U- tech machine will be an advantage).
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and system maintenance.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Basic computer and report writing skills.
• Good communication skills and Time management skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Install, operate, and maintain production equipment, including blow molding and filling line machines, motors, conveyors, chillers, air compressors, cylinders, and valves.
• Conduct routine inspections, safety checks, and preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and technical issues on blow molding/ filling line machines.
• Adjust and set machine parameters for different preforms to optimize product quality and minimize waste.
• Fabricate and repair parts for machine upgrades and defective corrections.
• Carry out preform repairs (mechanical and electrical) on automatic and semi-automatic blowing machines.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare reports.
• Train operators on machine handling, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
• Communicate effectively with the production team and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
