The People Specialist supports the People Manager in implementing disciplined people practices that sustain Matna’s factory efficiency, safety culture, quality compliance, and workforce stability. This role focuses on the day-to-day execution of HR processes within a shift-based processing environment, ensuring accurate employee records, effective workforce coordination, and consistent application of policies that promote accountability and operational reliability. Working closely with supervisors and department teams, the People Specialist ensures that people administration and employee support activities contribute to smooth plant operations and minimal workforce disruptions.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation of people policies and procedures across the factory to reinforce discipline and safety culture
Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR compliance standards
Assist with onboarding, induction, and workforce integration for new employees
Coordinate attendance tracking, shift rosters, and manpower records to support operational continuity
Support supervisors in handling routine employee matters, queries, and documentation
Assist in managing employee relations issues and escalating matters appropriately to the People Manager
Maintain organised HR data, reports, and personnel files for operational visibility
Support learning and development coordination focused on safety, process discipline, and technical competence
Ensure proper documentation for performance management and workforce actions
Promote a professional and supportive work environment through consistent HR presence on the factory floor
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
3–6 years’ HR or people operations experience within FMCG, food processing, agro-processing, or industrial manufacturing
Experience supporting workforce management in a shift-based factory environment
Good understanding of HR documentation, employee records, and compliance practices
Strong organisational and administrative skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
Ability to work closely with supervisors and operational teams in a factory setting
