    People Associate

    We are looking to hire a motivated People Associate to join our team. The People Associate will work as part of an innovative team to support all people and culture strategies and initiatives at our organization. This role is perfect for someone passionate about people management and practices, who is bubbling with creative ideas, has exceptional verbal and written skills, has a growth mindset, is organised, has a passion for automated solutions that simplify things and can see opportunities to make the work environment better.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the design and execution of HR policies, processes, initiatives and programmes that align with our mission and clients’ needs. Create policies and processes in easy-to-understand language, in line with our partners’ businesses. You should also be able to speak and present it in an easy-to-follow manner.
    • Assist in talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Support learning and development programmes, ensuring effective training initiatives for employees and clients.
    • Contribute to culture-building efforts, promoting workplace engagement and assisting in interventions.
    • Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting and employee feedback mechanisms.
    • Provide administrative support for HR operations, including documentation, and compliance tracking.
    • Conduct research and stay updated on best practices in HR, workplace culture, and people management.
    • Support employer branding initiatives and internal communications. Provide thought leadership on social media on Global and local HR laws and our practices by developing communications and narratives that influence businesses and engages employees. Oversee and expand our community ‘The People Practice Tribe’.
    • Collaborate with various practices - Recruitment, People, Branding - to drive strategic people and culture initiatives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or related field
    • 1-2 years\' experience in related field.
    • Proficient in Google Workspace and MS Office
    • Proven experience in related field

    Must have skills

    • Curiosity and the desire to learn. Our business is evolving rapidly, which means flexibility and speed are key.
    • Ninja research skills. The ability to understand trends and break down larger, complex information and data into smaller easy-to-comprehend chunks.
    • Great, frequent, clear communications skills. A must as we work remotely with our partners.
    • Confidence in presenting and navigating information.
    • Relatability in person and online.
    • Strong organisation skills.
    • Strong Data skills. Understanding why data is important, what data to store, and how to store and track data
    • A self-driven work ethic. You need to be a self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through to completion.
    • Tact, sensitivity, and diplomacy. We have to be confidential with information.
    • Problem-solving skills - the ability to get to the root cause and design solutions with the users in mind.
