Job Description

• The role will be required to lead on pupil wellbeing and pastoral care with a primary focus on ensuring that the boarding experience of all students is enjoyable and memorable.
• This is an extremely rewarding, demanding and varied role that would also play an active part in the strategic planning, leadership and decision making for the Academy.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• A minimum of 6 years of leading pastoral care in a boarding school.
• Sound understanding of safeguarding policies and health and safety procedure
• Positive relationship to support the child holistically
• Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development.
• Ability to act as an effective and compelling ambassador for the school
• Knowledge of the rapidly changing sector internationally
• A clean criminal record and no issues regarding suitability to work with children.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to establish constructive relationships with staff, parents and pupils.
