    Partnership Manager

    Job Summary:

    • The Partnership and Funding Manager holds ultimate responsibility for attracting partners and funders (local and international) to support the hub and start-ups in the community.Vatebra Tech Hub is a social innovation hub providing digital skills training to youths to enable them to earn a decent living.
    • We also support start-ups with experiential training, infrastructure, mentorship, access to funding, and market linkages that they require to grow their businesses.
    • We have impacted over 12,000 youths in our hub network across Lagos, Bayelsa, Kaduna, and Kebbi States since our inception in 2019.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Identify partnership opportunities for new business development; and lead the execution from initiating contacts, securing appointments, developing proposals, making presentations, and negotiating funding and program sponsorship deal points.
    • Work with the Board Directors to build and sustain strategic partnerships and relationships with individuals, institutional donors, corporates, and other stakeholders.Implement fundraising strategies including campaigns, preparation, and management of grant proposals, concept notes, donor response letters, etc.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

    • Education: First degree
    • Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role in a credible company

    KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

    • Excellent leadership and influencing skills
    • Entrepreneurship spirit with a can-do attitude - the ability to work in a start-up environment.
    • Deep knowledge of the start-up/entrepreneurship ecosystem with a focus on entrepreneurship management, capacity building, and training programs
    • Strong track record of fundraising, grants, and sponsorship experience
