Role Overview:

The Operations/Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production processes, and maintaining high-quality standards. The candidate will drive operational efficiency, implement process improvements, and manage production timelines. A key focus will be on optimizing the injection molding process, ensuring product quality, and minimizing production costs. The candidate must be fluent in both English and Igbo languages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day production operations to ensure timely and efficient product delivery.
• Implement and monitor production schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet deadlines.
• Optimize the injection molding process for maximum efficiency and quality output.
• Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance and training to ensure best practices are followed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
• Maintain inventory levels and manage resources to reduce downtime and production costs.
• Collaborate with other departments (e.g., procurement, quality control) to streamline production processes.
• Track production metrics and report on performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in plastic manufacturing, with hands-on expertise in the injection molding process.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational efficiency and quality improvement.
• Must be fluent in both English and Igbo languages.
• Ability to work fully onsite and willing to relocate if needed.
