The Operations Manager will assist with establishing and maintaining the standards of the Spa etiquette and service in all interactions with guests and staff. You will be responsible for the effective tasks of the spa and keeping up with solid client connections.
The Operations Manager would also oversee stock taking and balance with the Accountant. He/she would work closely with the HR team to oversee the deliverables of the tasks and manage rewards and sanctions as required
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee activities and spa operations.
Arrange and manage employee work schedules, considering different occasions and peak times.
Compile reports – including treatment feedback, management reports etc., maintain weekly, monthly, and annual financial tracking spreadsheets
Ensure proper cleaning of equipment and tools after use and following hygiene practices across all spa rooms.
Maintain tracking of calls carried out by front desk officers; ensure contacts of new clients are uploaded
Monitor stock and ordering products as and when required.
Participate in hiring activities and training new hires as required.
Track the payments received from clients and ensure there is no financial loss
Maintain records of all transactions and present it to the CEO on a daily and monthly basis.
Key Competencies
Minimum of 3 years of work experience as a Spa Operations Manager, or a similar role.
Exceptional management and leadership skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and inventory procedures
Customer-oriented individual and an outstanding problem-solver
A keen eye on details.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Good analytical/critical thinking
Excellent attention to detail and ability to lead a team to deliver great results
Ability to organise data efficiently and prepare reports
