    Operations Manager

    Our client leverages cutting-edge software technology to capture data, automate payments, and provide Big Data intelligence to the aviation sector. Their mission is to optimize operational efficiency, enhance decision-making, and drive digital transformation across the aviation ecosystem

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic Operations Manager to oversee and enhance operational processes, drive efficiency, and ensure seamless execution of business activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the fintech industry, with knowledge of aviation being a plus. The Operations Manager will be responsible for optimizing workflows, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

    Summary of Responsibilities

    Operational Strategy & Execution

    • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance business efficiency and scalability.
    • Assess current processes and implement data-driven improvements and align operational goals with business objectives to drive growth and profitability.
    • Coordinate with leadership to identify emerging trends and adapt strategies accordingly and establish benchmarks and best practices to ensure operational excellence.

    Process Optimization

    • Identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to improve overall operations and analyze current processes to detect bottlenecks and redundancies.
    • Develop and implement process automation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy, foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and optimizing operational procedures. 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new workflows and best practices.

    Team Leadership

    • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of operational tasks and projects. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment by mentoring and motivating team members while establishing clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with business goals.
    • Encourage innovation and proactive problem-solving to drive operational success.

    Performance Monitoring

    • Develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools to monitor operational effectiveness and analyze trends and generate actionable recommendations to optimize processes.
    • Collaborate with teams to set performance benchmarks and ensure alignment with business objectives.

    Establish KPIs, track performance metrics, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement.

    Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management

    • Identify and mitigate operational risks to safeguard business continuity and develop risk assessment frameworks to proactively identify potential threats.
    • Ensure operations comply with industry regulations, legal standards, and internal policies by conducting regular audits to assess compliance gaps and implement corrective measures and staying updated on regulatory changes and adapt policies accordingly. 

    Stakeholder Coordination

    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operations with business goals.
    • Work closely with vendors, regulatory bodies, and business partners to optimize operational processes and drive efficiency. 
    • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies to enhance business growth and sustainability.

    Technology Integration

    • Work closely with the technology team to implement innovative solutions that enhance operational effectiveness.

    Ensure seamless integration of new technologies with existing systems while minimizing disruptions.

    • The Ideal Candidate
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in fintech.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
    • Expertise in process optimization and workflow automation.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Aviation sector experience is an added advantage.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor\'s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
    • Project Management (PMP, Lean Six Sigma) certification is a plus.
    • Experience working with operational and process automation tools.
