Operations Manager at HR-on-Wheels

Job Description

• The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on, capable of improving routing efficiency, fleet coordination, personnel management, and customer experience while ensuring operational excellence and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate operations across mass transit routes, logistics hubs, and relocation projects.
• Supervise daily activities of drivers, logistics teams, and station supervisors.
• Lead route optimization and scheduling strategies to reduce delays and maximize resource utilization.
• Monitor fleet performance, vehicle maintenance, and minimize downtime across sub-stations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and enforce compliance with operational SOPs and transport regulations.
• Collaborate with customer service and sales teams to meet client expectations and resolve operational issues.
• Track, analyze, and report operational data for performance monitoring and decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of assets, vehicles, and materials across sub-stations.
• Provide leadership in incident management, emergency response, and service recovery efforts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing transport, logistics, or mass transit operations.
• Proven ability to oversee multi-location logistics or transport systems.
• Strong knowledge of fleet scheduling, route optimization, and process improvement.
• Experience in relocation services, mass transit, and courier logistics is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics/fleet management software.
• Willingness to travel frequently and engage in regular on-field supervision.
• Physically fit and able to handle high-mobility operational tasks.

Salary
N350,000 monthly.
