Operations Manager at DO.II Designs Limited

Job Summary

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the operations team, streamlining processes, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Provide directions for operations departments and ensure a seamless operation across boards.
• Coordinate the activities of procurement, production, and logistics units to ensure efficient and effective operations across the units.
• Ensure preparation of Operations Budget in line with developmental goals to ensure consistency in profitability and growth for the Company
• Implement and maintain the factory operations strategies to deliver the customer service objectives working closely with Production Manager/Sales.
• Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Ensure that manufacturing and maintenance operations run smoothly and that production targets are met.
• Ensure efficient inflow of raw materials and outflow of products to clients in the most cost-effective manner.
• Build strong rapport with the production team through open communication, and promote a positive, safe, productive, and efficient work environment
• Continually analyze, identify and set expectations to motivate team members to achieve objectives and goals.
• Ensure clients’ EDD are met by working closely with the Production Manager.
• Any other duties assigned by Line Manager.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./ HND in a Business or Social Science Discipline
• Additional degree/ certification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
• Proven work experience within the operations department in a furniture/manufacturing industry
• Required Skills & Competencies
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong organization and relationship management skills
• Excellent attention to details and accuracy.
• Excellent leadership skills to supervise multiple projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Possess strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
