    Operations Manager


    • Develop and implement strategies to streamline operations and improve efficiency throughout the supply chain, from procurement of raw materials to delivery to clients.
    • Oversee inventory management, including forecasting demand, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing excess inventory to reduce costs.
    • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and negotiate favorable terms to optimize procurement processes.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
    • Analyze operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed to enhance productivity and reduce waste.


    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 4 years of experience in operations, procurement, and sales within the pharmaceutical or chemical industry.
    • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including procurement, inventory control, and logistics.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams to achieve business objectives.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of implementing process improvements.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution such as those mandated by the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices is highly desirable.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ability to travel on short notice. This job demands a lot of travel.
