    Operations & Book Keeping Associate

    SUMMARY AND OBJECTIVE

    • Herbal Goodness is seeking a reliable, task-oriented, and innovative Operations, and Bookkeeping Associate to work with the Operations team and provide operational and bookkeeping support.
    • This job involves analyzing existing processes, supporting inventory management and supply chain, overseeing quality control, dealing with bookkeeping on Quick Books, and supporting the Operations Manager. Will help with daily order fulfillment.
    • Experience with Quickbooks is a must. Will be working with the CPA and other bookkeepers to ensure company books are updated weekly. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Managing quick books 
    • Manage all daily order fulfillment and all shipping and freight requests.
    • Support & manage shipping and freight needs for vendors, retailers, distributors/clients (USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.).
    • Oversee the smooth running of order fulfillment.
    • Manage new and existing vendors and suppliers.
    • Support new product research and development.
    • Provide support to accounting for inventory control audits and company tradeshow events. 
    • Support CEO and operations team with all tasks.
    • Manage Amazon FBA platforms including product listing, product pages and shipments.
    • Perform any other duties related to the position of Operations Associate.

    REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

    • B.Sc./Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a must. Advanced degree is a plus.
    • 2-3+ years of experience.
    • Extremely detail-oriented and able to follow up on tasks without being reminded.
    • Tech-savvy and willing to learn. 
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
    • Excellent computer proficiency (Google Suite).
    • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
    • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
    • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistently including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
    • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
    • Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
