Night Shift Staff (Night Auditor) at The Art Hotel

Job Summary:
As our Night Shift Staff, you will be in charge of the hotel overnight. You will handle all night operations, ensure guests are well attended to, balance and close the day’s accounts on Opera, and prepare the hotel for the next day. This role is for someone with hospitality experience who can confidently take charge at night.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the main contact person for all guests and hotel matters during the night.
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and respond to guest requests or emergencies.
• Perform night audit duties, including balancing daily transactions and closing the day on Opera PMS.
• Prepare accurate end-of-day reports for management.
• Ensure all cash, card, and posting transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
• Conduct regular walks around the property to ensure security and safety at night.
• Coordinate with other departments (Housekeeping, Security, Maintenance) if any issue arises.
• Handle late reservations and room allocations as needed.
• Ensure lobby and front desk areas are neat and ready for the morning shift.
• Report any unusual incidents, guest complaints, or operational issues to the Front Office Manager.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, preferably in Front Office or Night Audit.
• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS (Property Management System).
• Ability to perform end-of-day closing and prepare night audit reports.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions during the night shift.
• Attention to detail, honesty, and a professional attitude.
