Network Administrator at IpNX Nigeria Limited

​​​​​​​The Role: 

• As a Network Administrator, you will support and maintain highly complex enterprise network systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Reporting to the Head, Network & Infrastructure, you will troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and implement solutions to meet business objectives while safeguarding IT assets from threats. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade enterprise network systems to ensure maximum uptime. 
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, and latency) and test for vulnerabilities. 
• Ensure robust network security and connectivity to protect enterprise IT assets and data. 
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues, including routing, datacenter network design, packet loss, latency, and equipment failures. 
• Recommend innovative solutions, products, and technologies to enhance network performance. 
• Administer and support third-party applications and systems. 

Job Requirements 

Educational Qualifications: 

• BSc/BEng in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field (2.2/Upper Credit minimum). 
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) are a plus. 

Experience: 

• 2–5 years of experience in network administration, configuration, and security. 
• Hands-on experience with enterprise network systems, routing, and datacenter network design. 
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues (e.g., packet loss, latency, system connectivity).
