Since the late 1990s, Mercy Corps has managed over 100 peacebuilding and conflict management projects in over 30 countries and regions, making Mercy Corps a true leader in the field. We currently implement 34 peacebuilding programs in some of the world’s toughest places. The Community Initiatives to Promote Peace (CIPP) is a 60-month Cooperative Agreement with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Mercy Corps, implement it in partnership with Pastoral Resolve – PARE, Interfaith Mediation Centre – IMC, Savannah Centre for Diplomacy Democracy and Development - SCDDD, and African Radio Drama Association – ARDA CIPP aims to: Promote peaceful coexistence and collaboration in Nigeria by mitigating violent conflict in at-risk communities in six states of Nigeria’s North West (Kaduna, Kano, and Katsina States) and North Central (Kogi, Benue and Plateau States) through an integrated, multifaceted program that (1) empowers communities to prevent and respond to violence and violent extremism by strengthening key skills and relationships, and (2) fosters an enabling environment for peace through policy advocacy, media outreach, and linkages to development programs.
Mercy Corps is looking for a consultant that will support the CIPP programme with the filing of soft copies of programme documents on the MC drive and hard copies in the fireproof cabinet.
The consultant will support the Project in ensuring that documentation is up to date and is in compliance with MC and donor policies. Key among the tasks include Program Retention exercise, annual indicator surveys, Orange Door Data Analysis as well as supporting field level research activities.

Gather all FINAL copies of program documents and upload them in the Program File
Document Retention file rated at 90%
Hard copy filing according to how the folders are on the drive
Box files are available and as per # 1 above
Upload CIPP Participants on quarterly basis
Data base updated and ready for inspection
Support Data collection from the field
Youth led Action Research
Data Analysis including data visualization on PowerPoint
Support in update of Incident reports dashboard
Monitor trends on Orange Door Research Dashboard
Upload report twice a month
Present visualized report every quarter
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The consultant is expected to work for 118 days for this contract duration
Reports directly to: CIPP MEL Manager
