This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mobile App Engineer, based in Nigeria, with flexibility for some work-from-home options.
The Mobile App Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while addressing application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Additionally, the engineer will troubleshoot and debug mobile applications to improve functionality and user experience.
Job Responsibilities
Design and build native iOS and Android applications using React Native.
Write clean, reusable, and maintainable React Native code.
Implement complex UI components and animations.
Integrate with various APIs and backend services.
Implement unit and integration tests for code coverage and quality assurance.
Optimize app performance for both iOS and Android devices.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to bring product vision to life.
Stay up to date with the latest React Native trends and technologies.
Job Requirements
2+ years of experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
Strong understanding of React, JavaScript, and object-oriented programming principles.
Experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) and/or Android development (Kotlin or Java) is a plus.
Experience with Redux, MobX, or other state management libraries (a plus).
Experience with testing frameworks like Jest and Detox (a plus).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
