MIS Operations Officer at Tekrecruiters Limited

Position Overview:

• We are currently seeking to hire an experienced and highly motivated and detail-oriented MIS Operations Officer for one of our clients in Cashew production and export Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the Management Information System (MIS) operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and integrity in financial reporting. 
• The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of financial MIS reporting, and be a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the organization's Management Information System (MIS) to support effective decision-making and strategic planning.
• Collaborate with finance and IT teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality of MIS tools and systems.
• Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including budget variance analysis, financial performance reports, and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies in financial reporting processes.
• Conduct regular audits of MIS data and systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Provide training and support to staff members on the effective use of MIS tools and systems.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in MIS operations and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in MIS operations.
• Assist in ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required by management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
• Proven experience 5 years in financial MIS reporting and operations.
• Strong proficiency in MIS tools and software, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
• Experience in the finance or banking sector is preferred but not required.
