Key Responsibilities:

Data Management:

• Collect, compile, and organize data from various sources within the organization.
• Design and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data management systems.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security through regular audits and data validation processes.
• Identify data quality issues and implement corrective measures.
• Develop and enforce data management policies and procedures.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present data findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with different departments to understand their reporting needs and develop customized reports.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and reporting.

System Development and Maintenance:

• Identify opportunities for process automation and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors to develop and maintain MIS systems.
• Conduct user acceptance testing and ensure system functionality and usability.
• Provide training and support to users on data management tools and systems.

Data Governance and Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
• Establish data governance frameworks and procedures.
• Monitor and report on data privacy and security breaches.
• Conduct regular data audits and implement measures to mitigate risks.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their data requirements.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and data metrics.
• Communicate data insights and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Provide support and guidance to colleagues regarding data management and analysis.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in data management, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL), data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and MS Office applications (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of data governance principles, data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR), and information security best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of the industry-specific software or ERP systems relevant to the organization is a plus.
