Mid-Level Graphic Artist at Verus Consultants

Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Mid-Level Graphic Artist located in Lagos State, Nigeria. The Graphic Artist will be responsible for creating and editing graphics, image editing, graphic design, and logo design.

Job Description

• Maintain brand consistency, design logos, social media graphics, newsletters, brochures, ads, flyers, signage, etc. and prepare files for pre-press, print production and for the web.
• The employee is also responsible for redesigning and updating internal and external publications; prepare and maintain a job log; define timelines
• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the final design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Requirements

• Education: Minimum requirement: HND / BSc
• Experience: Minimum requirement: 3 years professional experience in a related field
• Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Corel-draw and Photoshop
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding UI/UX is an added advantage
