Microwave TAC Engineer at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Microwave TAC Engineer with specialized experience in Huawei Microwave transmission systems (RTN series, OptiX, etc.).
• The ideal candidate will provide Level 2/3 technical support, fault diagnosis, and remote configuration for microwave backhaul networks, ensuring optimal network availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support for Huawei Microwave systems (e.g., RTN 900, RTN 300, OptiX PTN).
• Diagnose and resolve issues including link failures, LOS, latency, and misconfigurations.
• Support site integrations, software upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Analyze performance metrics (RSL, QoS, throughput) and recommend optimizations.
• Coordinate with Huawei TAC and internal NOC teams for issue escalation and upgrades.
• Assist in link budgeting and capacity planning.
• Document RCA reports, SOPs, and implementation guides.
• Provide technical support and training to field engineers.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting Huawei Microwave networks.
• Proficiency with RTN/OptiX series and tools like iManager U2000 or NCE-T.
• Solid understanding of L2/L3 protocols, QoS, OSPF, MPLS (an advantage).
• Ability to interpret microwave link budgets and network topology maps.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
