We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to join our team, responsible for managing the product range, pricing, and inventory levels of our printer and gadget categories.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the tech industry, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to inform product range decisions
Manage and optimize product inventory levels, minimizing stockouts and overstocking
Develop and implement pricing strategies to drive sales and profitability
Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate best-in-class deals and terms
Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective product promotion and sales execution
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new product releases.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree / HND
3+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the tech industry (printers and gadgets)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong understanding of retail operations and supply chain management.
Nice to Have:
Experience with ERP systems and data analytics tools
Knowledge of consumer behavior and market research principles.
