As the Medical Officer (Oncology), you will be responsible for providing quality oncology care, supporting radiotherapy treatment, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care, consultations, and follow-up management for oncology patients
Support radiotherapy planning, treatment protocols, and multidisciplinary case reviews
Counsel patients on treatment options, medication, and post-treatment care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and research activities
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and infection control practices
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Medicine (MBBS) with a valid practicing license
Must have completed NYSC with a minimum of 1–3 years' post-NYSC clinical experience
Experience or interest in Oncology, Internal Medicine, or related clinical practice is an added advantage
Strong knowledge of patient assessment, clinical management, and evidence-based practice
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient management skills.
