Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics and a commitment to fostering a love for the subject among students.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons tailored to different learning abilities.
• Teach mathematics topics ranging from basic arithmetic to advanced concepts based on the school curriculum.
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including hands-on activities, technology integration, and group work, to enhance student understanding.
• Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and exams.
• Provide individualized support to students who need extra help or enrichment.
• Encourage analytical thinking, problem-solving, and mathematical curiosity.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to parents and school leadership.
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school activities.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
• Teaching certification or license is mandatory.
• Proven teaching experience in a school setting.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities.
• Proficiency in integrating technology into teaching is a plus
