Job Description

• Conduct thorough hotel guest consultation to understand individual health histories, preferences, and any specific concerns or conditions.
• Tailor Spa treatment, especially massages, based on the guest's needs and preferences.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, such as deep tissue, hot stone, or aromatherapy massages as requested by the hotel guests.
• Administer specialized body treatments, including scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Demonstrate technical proficiency in various massage modalities, staying updated on industry trends and innovations.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific hotel guests' concerns.
• Ensure treatment rooms are clean, well-stocked, and prepared for each guest.
• Create a tranquil and comfortable environment conducive to relaxation.
• Stay informed about Spa products, including oils, lotions, and aromatherapy options.
• Educate hotel guests on the benefits of different products and recommend home care routines.
• Adhere to strict health and safety protocols, including cleanliness, sanitation, and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Upselling additional Spa services or retail products based on the client’s needs and preferences.
• Contribute to the achievement of sales targets for the hotel through effective communication and product knowledge.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience working as a masseur.
• University graduate, NCE, OND or suitable equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other necessary computer programs
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of working in a hospitality environment will be an added advantage
• Fluency in English
• Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Professional attitude and appearance.
