Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and skilled Masonry Foreman to oversee and coordinate masonry work on construction sites.
• The ideal candidate will lead a team of masons, ensure projects are completed on time, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of masonry workers and subcontractors.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
• Ensure all masonry work (bricklaying, blockwork, stonework, etc.) meets quality standards.
• Plan work schedules and allocate tasks effectively.
• Monitor project progress and report to site/project managers.
• Enforce safety regulations and ensure compliance with site policies.
• Inspect completed work and address any defects promptly.
• Train and mentor junior masons and laborers.
• Manage materials, tools, and equipment efficiently.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Masonry Foreman or senior mason (5+ years).
• Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Physical stamina and ability to work in demanding site conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical certification or vocational training in masonry or construction.
• Experience working on large-scale construction projects.
• Basic knowledge of project management principles.
• Familiarity with construction software/tools is an added advantage.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if required.
