We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strategizing and executing marketing campaigns to amplify artiste releases, brand activations, and audience growth. You’ll work closely with artistes, A&Rs, content teams, DSPs, and media outlets to create culturally relevant and data-driven marketing plans that cut through the noise.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and execute innovative 360° marketing campaigns for artiste projects (singles, EPs, albums).
Coordinate with DSPs (Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, Boomplay) for playlist pitching, banner placements, and editorial visibility.
Manage roll-out calendars, campaign trackers, and post-campaign performance reports.
Drive content ideation for social media, influencer partnerships, TikTok activations, and fan engagement strategies.
Collaborate with PR teams to secure media placements, interviews, and features.
Develop and manage promotional budgets across campaigns.
Track marketing trends, analyze campaign performance metrics, and recommend adjustments.
Work closely with artistes to reflect their creative direction across campaigns and brand visuals.
Maintain relationships with external partners – blogs, radio stations, creators, event platforms, and brands.
Assist with event activations (listening parties, tours, press days, showcases).
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
1–4 years experience in marketing, digital campaigns, or brand strategy (entertainment/music industry is a plus).
Passion for music, pop culture, and digital storytelling.
Strong understanding of African music market and fan behavior across platforms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Spotify for Artists, etc.
Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
