Marketers at Newchip Technologies

• We are looking for a versatile and creative Marketing Officer to execute marketing campaigns that build brand visibility, engage consumers, and generate sales leads. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, creative execution, and collaboration with the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Management and Content:

• Assist in the development and implementation of the company's annual marketing and communication plan.
• Ensure all marketing materials, communications, and campaigns consistently adhere to brand guidelines and messaging.
• Create, proofread, and edit promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, press releases, and internal communications.

Campaign Execution (Traditional & Digital):

• Coordinate and manage the logistics for promotional events, trade shows, sponsorships, and field marketing activities.
• Manage and create content for company social media channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to drive community engagement.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies (e.g., printers, media buyers, designers) to produce marketing assets.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Conduct basic market research on competitor activities, consumer preferences, and industry trends within the Nigerian market.
• Track inventory of marketing materials and promotional items.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on marketing activity performance, providing insights to the management team.

Sales Support:

• Act as the key liaison between the Marketing and Sales departments to ensure marketing initiatives effectively support sales objectives and lead generation.
• Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Business Administration.
• Experience: Proven experience (Minimum 1-3 years) in a marketing or brand support role is highly desirable.
• Skills:
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting ideas.
• Organizational Skills: Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Creativity: A strategic and creative mindset, with attention to detail in design and copy.
• IT Proficiency: Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with social media platforms.
