Maintenance Officer (Plumbing) at WosAm Arena

The ideal candidate will:

• Identify potential problems to prevent premature and/or unexpected breakdowns/callbacks in the hotel premises.
• Maintain and repair plumbing systems carrying water, steam, chemicals, and fuel in heating, cooling, lubricating and other process piping systems.
• Inspect high-pressure, air, steam, water, and gas systems to ascertain malfunctions.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures, tests joints, and pipe systems.
• Repair all plumbing installations, diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs, prepare cost estimates, troubleshoot relevant equipment, ensure accuracy and adherence to plumbing codes and regulations.

This role will report to the facility management team lead.

Minimum qualification:

• OND
• A good command of English language
• Relevant certifications such as HSE, are an added advantage.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Physical stamina
• Familiarity with industrial equipment
• Strong understanding of modern plumbing systems is key to success
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
