Maintenance Manager - Electrical at Global Profilers

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all electrical installations are completed according to design specifications and safety standards.
• Supervise the installation of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Plan and perform regular maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues promptly to minimize disruption to farm operations.
• Recommend and implement upgrades to electrical systems to improve efficiency and capacity.
• Supervise the installation of new electrical equipment and technology as needed.
• Develop and enforce electrical safety protocols and procedures.
• Conduct safety training sessions for farm staff to prevent electrical accidents.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.
• Ensure backup power systems, such as generators, are maintained and ready for use
• Perform regular inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure they are safe and operational.
• Document inspection and testing results and take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee electrical projects from planning to completion, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors to integrate electrical systems with other farm operations.
• Manage inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans for electrical outages and other issues
• Lead and supervise a team of electricians and technicians.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance and training to the team.
• Maintain detailed records of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Document all safety procedures, inspections, and incidents.

Requirements

• B. Engr in Electrical from recognized institutions
• Minimum of 10 years cognate experience from manufacturing companies/poultries;
• Members of NSE and COREN will be an added advantage;
• Strong Leadership, Communication, Organizational and Analytical skills;
• Must be computer literate.
