Job Summary

• The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring that machinery, equipment, and systems within an organization operate efficiently and reliably. 
• This role involves proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.

Responsibilities
Preventive Maintenance:

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures.
• Schedule and conduct regular inspections and servicing of machinery and systems.

Troubleshooting and Repairs:

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues promptly.
• Perform necessary repairs or coordinate with external service providers when required.

Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety regulations.
• Promote a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards.

Performance Evaluation:

• Monitor equipment performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Utilize diagnostic tools to assess system health and preempt potential failures.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Generate reports on equipment status and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other departments to align maintenance activities with production schedules.
• Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

Requirements
Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Master’s degree in a related engineering field.
• Professional certifications is an added advantage.

Experience Required:

• 5 -10 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments is advantageous.
