Maintenance Engineer at ICS Outsourcing Limited

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimising our machinery to uphold our production standards. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring the efficient operation of our equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on a variety of manufacturing machinery, including CNC machines, woodworking equipment and other tools.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues promptly to minimise downtime.
• Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance plans to prevent equipment failures and optimise machinery performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
• Maintain detailed logs and records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Comply with safety protocols and regulations to create a safe working environment for all employees.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialised repairs and equipment upgrades when necessary.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency enhancements in machinery and maintenance processes.
• Stay current with industry advancements and new technologies, recommending equipment upgrades or replacements as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical engineering
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance in a furniture factory maintaining 2+ CNC machines, 2+ edge banding machines, 10+ semi-automatic machines.
• Experience in Biesse Machinery, Nanxing Machinery is vital
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with relevant software and control systems used in Furniture manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
