The Machine Shop Manager & Business Development Manager (Machine Shop) is responsible for the effective management and growth of AOS Orwell Machine Shop operations in Nigeria and Ghana.
The role combines full operational accountability for machines, threading, refurbishment, and fabrication services with strategic business development responsibilities to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability.
The position ensures full compliance with API standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, operational efficiency, workforce capability, customer satisfaction, and expanding the machine shop’s market footprint.
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Certifications in machining, CNC programming, or API threading
Minimum of 10 years of machining experience in an oil & gas machine shop
Strong CNC & manual machining experience
Strong knowledge of API 5CT, API 7-1, API 7-2 threading standards
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, thread data sheets, and specifications
Skilled in tooling selection, cutting parameters, precision measurement, and machine troubleshooting
