Machine Operator - Converting at Talents and Skills Africa

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production output from slitting and rewinding machines in the converting unit.
• Supervise machine operators, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
• Coordinate production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols
• Collaborate with the production head to optimize workflows and enhance overall efficiency.
• Train and mentor machine operators, ensuring continuous skill development.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, and other relevant information.
• Communicate effectively with management to provide updates on production status, challenges, and improvements.

Candidate Specification

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within converting units of film processing companies/tape manufacturing companies.
• Proven experience in a supervisory role, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in handling production challenges and guiding operators, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures.
• Candidate should be graduated and trained.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a positive work environment.
• Preferred Company: Benoly, Newtech, Rotoprint, 3M, and Any film processing company.
