Job Description (Summary):

As the Logistics Officer, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics process, including the importation, storage, and distribution of goods. You will ensure accurate inventory management, warehouse security, and on-time delivery of products to customers while maintaining high standards of record-keeping and documentation.

Shipment and Customs Clearance:

• Coordinate the importation and customs clearance of goods, including preparing PI, purchasing insurance, applying for FORM M, PAAR, and liaising with freight forwarders.
• Monitor customs clearance progress and ensure goods are unloaded and transported from ports to warehouses efficiently.

Warehouse and Inventory Management:

• Manage warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory counting.
• Ensure alignment between physical inventory and financial data.
• Implement security measures and insurance for warehouse operations to safeguard goods.

Order Fulfillment and Logistics:

• Oversee the delivery of goods to customers and monitor logistics progress until orders are signed off by customers.

Document Management:

• Maintain accurate records and safekeeping of customs clearance, inventory, and delivery-related documents.

System Utilization:

• Use warehouse management systems (WMS, SAP, etc.) to streamline logistics and inventory processes.

Required Competencies:

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or supply chain management.
• Understanding of water meter solutions.
• Strong organizational and sales skills.
• Proficient in preparing and delivering independent presentations.

Budget: NGN 200,000 - NGN 400,000 Monthly (Negotiable)
