Job Description

• A loader's job involves loading and unloading materials, often using machinery like forklifts, and ensuring items are handled safely and efficiently.
• They may work in various settings, including warehouses, construction sites, and transportation hubs, and are responsible for tasks such as verifying shipments, maintaining equipment, and keeping records.

General Responsibilities

Loading and unloading:

• This is the core function, involving the movement of materials using various equipment or manually.

Material handling:

• Ensuring items are handled safely to prevent damage and are properly secured for transport.

Equipment operation:

• Operating machinery like forklifts, pallet jacks, or potentially even cranes, depending on the specific role.

Inventory management:

• Keeping track of incoming and outgoing goods, sometimes involving record-keeping.

Maintaining a safe environment:

Coordination:

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an NCE / OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with 2 - 3 years of work experience.
