Line Supervisor (Foreman) at Ascentech Services Limited

The line supervisor is responsible for supervising the line employees’ work quality, productivity and attendance. The supervisor is responsible for maintaining a full roster ensuring that all line positions are manned and operated. In the event that an employee is absent the line supervisor must have a contingency plan in place for ensuring shift coverage. In many situations the line supervisor will cover the vacant position. Making sure that the line operates without incident or down time is the most important responsibility of the line supervisor.

Department:           Production                         Location:  Plant (Ojota)

Purpose:       To see that products produced during shifts meets required standard and quality.

Specification:

• Minimum educational standard:   OND/HND.
• Minimum Working Experience:  6- 8 Years’ related experience in electronics installations & repairs.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

• Self-motivated and hardworking.
• Ability to handle shift operation devoid of any machine shut down except when it becomes inevitable.
• Team player and result oriented.
• Excellent organisation and problem solving skills.
• Prior experience in an Electronic or Polymer company is Key
• Work according to daily production plan and positive deliverables.
