Job Description
- Ensure that real estate-related laws, decisions, and regulations are interpreted.
- Keep an eye out for legal risks in real estate documentation and provide appropriate advice to clients.
- Manage regulatory and compliance-related services.
- Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before real estate transactions are executed.
- Assist with the legal and general advisory needs of our real estate portfolio.
- Represent the company in purchases and sales of properties.
- Advocate in court on behalf of clients in cases involving zoning regulations, eminent domain, or land use issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Proven 2- 3 experience as a legal practitioner in the real estate or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Lagos real estate market.
- Capable networker with excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
