Role

• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements (sale, lease, tenancy, joint ventures)
• Conduct property due diligence and verify land titles/documents
• Ensure compliance with property laws, regulations, and company policies
• Handle land documentation processes (e.g., title registration, transfers, and permits)
• Provide legal advice on property transactions and investments
• Liaise with government agencies, regulatory bodies, and external solicitors
• Manage disputes, claims, and litigation related to property matters
• Prepare and review contracts with clients, vendors, and partners
• Ensure proper documentation and safe custody of legal records
• Support the company in risk management and legal strategy.

Requirements

• LL.B (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university
• BL qualification and Called to the Nigerian Bar
• 2 - 5 years experience in real estate or corporate law
• Strong knowledge of property laws and documentation.
