    Legal Officer/ Executive Assistant

    • This dual-role position combines legal support and executive-level assistance. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality legal guidance while ensuring the CEO’s daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a strategic role in managing legal documentation, risk, and compliance, while also offering critical administrative support to the CEO.
    • Success in this role means being proactive, detail-oriented, highly confidential, legally sound, and well-organized. This role supports the CEO and contributes to the overall stability, legal integrity, and strategic efficiency of the organization.

    What you will do:

    • Review, draft, and manage contracts, NDAs, agreements, and legal documents
    • Provide legal advice on business matters, compliance, and regulatory frameworks
    • Support legal filings, licensing, and renewals
    • Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed
    • Maintain accurate legal records and manage the company’s legal documentation.
    • Manage the CEO’s calendar, meetings, and communications
    • Attend meetings and record accurate minutes
    • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), and must be called to the Nigerian Bar.
    • Minimum of 3 years post-call experience, preferably in a corporate or commercial legal setting.
    • Strong understanding of Nigerian legal and regulatory frameworks.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and executive productivity tools.
    • High level of integrity, organization, and discretion.
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet tight deadlines.
