Legal Officer at Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advisory services and draft/review contracts, MoUs, SLAs, etc.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies & ethics; support regulatory filings.
• Assist in policy development, governance, and committee secretariat work.
• Handle disciplinary matters and support ethical compliance.
• Conduct legal research and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements:

• LL.B, BL with 2–3 years post-NYSC legal/in-house experience.
• Strong skills in legal drafting, compliance, corporate governance, and communication.
• Integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in teams.
