Job Summary

• As a Legal Associate, you will be responsible for working directly with the business to ensure that all legal matters are handled professionally and efficiently.
• The Legal Associatewill also be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, assessing legal needs, reviewing company policies and procedures, and business and legal policies.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to understand their cases.
• Research legislation and case law to determine actions.
• Draft legal documents such as reports and contracts.
• Represent clients in meetings, hearings, and trials.
• Advocate for acquittal or clemency.
• Update your manager on case developments.
• Ensure client information remains confidential and secure.
• Track hours spent on assignments.
• Stay informed about legislative changes. 

Other Requirements:

• Must reside in Lagos Island(Lekki)
• Accredited law degree
• 3 - 4 years of experience in a legal practice
• Strong legal knowledge and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Task prioritisation skills
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent decision-making and communication skills
