    Legal Associate – Litigation & Dispute Resolution

    Location: Ikeja, Lagos.
    Salary Range: 150k-200k Net

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Legal Associate with expertise in litigation and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in representing clients in various legal forums, drafting legal documents, and advising on complex legal matters. This role is ideal for a legal professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to grow within a reputable law firm.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Represent clients in court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution forums.
    • Draft and review pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents.
    • Provide strategic legal advice on complex litigation and commercial disputes.
    • Liaise with external counsel, court officials, and regulatory authorities.
    • Conduct in-depth legal research and develop effective case strategies.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Attend court sittings and follow up on case proceedings diligently.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 2-3 years post-call experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
    • Proven track record of handling commercial litigation and arbitration matters.
    • Strong analytical and legal drafting skills.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • High ethical standards and attention to detail.
    • Member of the Nigerian Bar Association in good standing.
