Legal and Institutional Reform Specialist at GVA Partners

Job Summary:

• We seek a highly skilled legal professional to provide expertise in analyzing, drafting, and harmonizing institutional and regulatory frameworks. The successful candidate will support the project by identifying gaps in existing systems and proposing actionable reforms to align legal and institutional structures with the project’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and review existing legal and institutional frameworks in target countries. Develop recommendations for harmonized frameworks in line with international standards.
• Draft legal documents, policies, and guidelines as required.
• Facilitate consultations with government representatives, legal experts, and financial institutions.
• Provide legal support during workshops and training sessions conducted across selected countries.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Law, International Relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in legal reform, regulatory frameworks, or financial services law.
• Expertise in cross-border regulatory policy and compliance.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Fluency in English and working knowledge of French.
