    Legal, Admin and Compliance Officer

    Job Summary:

    • The Legal, Admin, and Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing legal, administrative, and compliance functions within the organization. This role combines legal advisory, administrative support, and ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements. The individual will provide legal guidance, manage compliance processes, and support the day-to-day operations through effective administrative assistance.

    Responsibilities:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure compliance and minimize legal risks.
    • Update and revise internal policies and procedures to align with changes in laws and regulations.
    • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the organization and advise on any potential impact.
    • Coordinate and manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and organizing documents.
    • Serve as a point of contact for legal and compliance inquiries from internal stakeholders.
    • Support the management team with organizational and logistical tasks, ensuring smooth operation of the legal and compliance functions.
    • Handle correspondence related to legal, administrative, and compliance matters.
    • Develop and maintain compliance programs, including policies, procedures, and training for employees.

    Qualification and requirements

    • A law degree from an accredited institution.
    • Proven experience as a Legal, Admin, and Compliance Officer, Legal Assistant, or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of corporate law, compliance regulations, and administrative best practices.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, including the ability to translate legal and compliance matters into easily understandable language.
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite, document management software, and legal research tools.
    • High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
