Learning & Career Development Specialist – Tech Talent
The Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for driving the growth, career readiness, and development of technical talent. This role combines mentoring, coaching, and learning program delivery while working closely with the Talent Sourcing & Delivery team to ensure technical candidates are prepared for current and upcoming opportunities.
The specialist provides guidance on career progression, skill development, and interview readiness, while helping design and execute structured programs that align learning with talent placement and organizational goals.
Key Requirements
3–5 years of experience in learning & development, talent development, career coaching, technical talent sourcing or technical mentorship programs.
Prior experience with technical programs, academies, bootcamps, or startup-led learning initiatives is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of technology careers, including software development, cloud computing, data platforms, AI/ML, and related technical domains.
Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and prepare technical talent for professional roles and career advancement.
Experience collaborating with talent sourcing, placement, or delivery teams to ensure candidates are ready for roles.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and facilitate mentor–mentee programs, including pairing, onboarding, check-ins, progress tracking, and engagement monitoring.
Develop individualized learning and career roadmaps for technical talent, covering skill development, career growth, and role readiness.
Provide one-on-one and group coaching to mentees, focusing on career guidance, interview preparation, technical skill readiness, and professional growth.
Collaborate with the Talent Sourcing & Delivery team to align learning and development initiatives with candidate placement, job matching, and successful deployment.
Support technical learning initiatives, such as workshops, skills bootcamps, and knowledge-sharing sessions to prepare candidates for real-world roles.
Track learning outcomes, mentee progress, and program effectiveness, providing insights and reporting to stakeholders.
Act as a trusted advisor to mentees, mentors, and delivery teams, offering guidance on career paths, learning priorities, and interview preparation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of frameworks, programs, and resources that bridge technical skill development and job readiness.
