    Lead Trainer - Professional Care Services

    The position is for our NBTE and City & Guilds UK accredited Vocational Training Institute in Abuja. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Lead Trainer to join our Professional Care Services team. As a Lead Trainer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering high-quality training programs to our caregivers and staff. Your expertise will help ensure that our team provides exceptional care and support to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Design, develop, and deliver training programs for caregivers and staff, including orientation, onboarding, and ongoing professional development.
    • Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and interactive training content.
    • Facilitate classroom and online training sessions, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness, tracking learner progress and assessing program impact.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in caregiving and professional development.
    • Mentor and coach caregivers and staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Partner with operations teams to ensure training aligns with business objectives and client needs.
    • Manage training records, reports, and other administrative database to inform training decisions and drive continuous improvement.

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in training, health education, or a related field.
    • Proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs.
    • Strong knowledge of caregiving practices, industry regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent knowledge of computer usage especially with Microsoft contents
    • Bachelor's degree in Health Education, Training, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with online learning platforms and training technology.
    • Health Education Certificate or related field.
    • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and training analytics.
