Lead, Planning and Design (FTTH) at Terawork

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead, Planning and Design to oversee the planning and design of FTTH (Fiber-to-the-Home) network infrastructure. The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and technicians to develop efficient, cost-effective fiber network designs while ensuring timely project delivery and alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of FTTH network infrastructure
• Develop network designs that meet technical and business requirements
• Optimize fiber routes to improve efficiency and reduce CAPEX and OPEX
• Supervise and support network planning engineers and design technicians
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery
• Ensure accuracy, quality, and completeness of network design documentation
• Support network expansion, scalability, and performance improvement
• Utilize tools such as AutoCAD, GIS, Visio, and other network planning software

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5–7 years experience in FTTH or fiber optic network planning and design
• Strong knowledge of FTTH technologies (GPON, EPON, PON)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, Visio, or similar network design tools
• Experience in OSP network planning and fiber route design
• Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
• Strong project coordination and communication skills

Preferred

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage
• Experience in telecom operators, ISPs, or fiber infrastructure companies
