Our client is in need of a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years of expertise in oil and gas contracts, drafting/review, and MOU.
You will be responsible for providing legal guidance on contract matters, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and contributing to the successful execution of oil and gas projects.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure that contract align with the company's objectives, comply with legal requirements, and mitigate potential risks.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to establish clear terms, objectives, and expectations in MOUs.
Stay up to date on relevant laws and regulations governing oil and gas operations and contracts.
Identify legal risks associated with contract terms and propose strategies to mitigate these risks.
Collaborate with internal teams, external legal counsel, and business partners to facilitate effective communication and negotiation throughout the contract lifecycle.
Oversee the administration of executed contracts, including monitoring contract performance, ensuring compliance with terms, and addressing any deviations or disputes.
Conduct legal due diligence for potential projects, acquisitions, or partnerships.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and active membership in the Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of legal experience, with a focus on oil and gas contracts, drafting/review, and MOU.
In-depth understanding of the regulatory framework and legal issues specific to the oil and gas industry.
Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
