Lathe & Milling Machine Operator at Smart Partners

Responsibilities
The Lathe & Milling Machine Operator Must be knowledgeable in:

• Machine shop and machine operation such as, Conventional Lathe, Milling Radial drilling. Shaping, Welding Tool & Cutter Grinding.
• Mechanical fault finding, checking, rectifying the function of the parts in the Machines
• Understanding and Interpreting Mechanical and Isometric drawing.
• Use of measuring instruments like Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge and Overall Evaluation of the Optical instruments.
• Doing all type of Fabrication work such as metal, copper, Stainless, Plastic etc..
• Designs and adjusts equipment controls to set cutting speeds, depths, and feed rates according to work specifications.
• Checking the progress of the machining process and makes all necessary adjustments when it is under performing.
• Maintaining and troubleshooting machines before and after the procedure.
• Programing the machine in accordance with work specifications.
